General Information

The Poster Session solicits posters from all areas of Computer Science and aims to offer the opportunity to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students as well as young researchers and professionals of any gender to engage with other researchers and professionals in the field, disseminate research work, receive comments, practice presentation skills, benefit from discussing ideas with other researchers. Submissions should present novel ideas, designs, techniques, systems, tools, evaluations, scientific investigations, methodologies, social issues or policy issues related to any area of computing. Authors may submit original work or versions of previously published work. Posters are ideal for presenting early stage research.

Travel Grants

GEC'22 will offer a number of travel grants of up to 300 euro for poster presenters who will have to travel to Thessaloniki to attend the summit!
The process to apply for the travel grants will be announced at the time of the poster notification deadline.

Submission Instructions

Poster papers should be submitted electronically through the EasyChair platform at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=gec22.
Submissions should introduce the area in which the work has been done and should emphasize the importance of the contribution. All submissions must be in English and pdf format. They must not exceed two pages in length and use the interim template interim template.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Poster Evaluation Committee. Accepted poster papers will be archived on the event website (there will be no proceedings). A submission may have one or more authors of any gender.
** For all accepted posters it is expected that at least one of the authors will physically attend the Conference, give a short presentation of their work, and demonstrate their poster at the respective poster session.
** A limited number of grants will be provided for students to support their travel and stay expenses at Thessaloniki.

Accepted Poster Papers - What to do next?

For all accepted posters it is expected that at least one of the authors will physically attend the Conference and of course, complete the online registration form (live option in registration).
A short oral presentation of the work (2 min) will take place during the Poster Session. Thus the presenter should send the 1-page poster (both pdf/ppt file) to the Poster Chairs beforehand by Monday 6 Jun 2022 using this form.
A printed version of the poster paper (A0 size portrait - 841 x 1189 mm) should be prepared by each author who will present it on-site since all posters will be placed in the GEC’22 poster exhibition area. Each poster’s presenter should be ready to demonstrate the poster on-site according to the GEC’22 schedule.
